What is a 24 hour comic?
It's a challenge: one cartoonist tries to create a full 24 page comic, normally months of work, in 24 straight hours. Any breaks count as part of the 24 hour time frame.

I'm an amateur web comic artist. As of June 30, 2006, I had offically been drawing web comics for 5 years. And I had yet to try one of the most interesting challenges to comic artists everywhere... 24 Hour Comics Day. So I got in touch with a really cool guy who owns a comic shop in San Diego, ComicKaze. He was the only person in San Diego hosting a space for people taking on the 24 Hour Comics Day challenge, and he kept his shop open and stayed with us for the full 24 hours.

I signed up to participate and entered his shop at Noon on October 7th to take up my pen.
20 and 1/2 hours later, I was sleep-deprived, hungry, thouroughly caffinated, and had 24 pages of comic sitting in front of me.

Not by any means of the imagination my best work ever, but I'm proud of it. And I intend to do it again in 2007.
